Tile is one of those finishes where the difference between a good install and a bad one shows up years later. Bad waterproofing means a shower that fails. Bad substrate prep means cracked grout lines and loose tiles. Bad layout planning means awkward cuts in the most visible spots. We approach every tile job with the substrate, the waterproofing, and the layout planned first — then the tile goes down. Whether it's a small backsplash or a full bathroom with heated floors and a curbless shower, we hold to the same standards: tight grout lines, plumb and level surfaces, and waterproofing systems installed exactly to manufacturer spec.
Share the space, the tile you're considering, and the scope — we respond within 24–48 hours.
Inspect the substrate, flatten if needed, plan the layout so cuts fall in the least-visible spots.
For wet areas, install full waterproofing membrane systems per manufacturer spec.
Tile set with proper thinset, back-buttered for large format, with consistent spacing throughout.

Most tile installs run $12–$25 per square foot installed for standard tile, more for large-format, mosaic, or natural stone. Shower builds run $4,000–$12,000 depending on size and waterproofing system. We provide a do-not-exceed estimate before starting.
We typically use Schluter KERDI or USG Durock systems — full sheet membrane or liquid-applied — depending on the build. Proper waterproofing is the single biggest factor in whether a shower lasts 20 years or fails in 5.
Yes. We install electric radiant heat mats (Schluter DITRA-HEAT, Warmly Yours, SunTouch) under tile floors in bathrooms, kitchens, mudrooms, and basements. Heated tile floors are one of the highest-value upgrades for the cost.
Yes — large-format porcelain (24×48 and bigger), marble, travertine, slate, and quartzite. Large-format tile requires a perfectly flat substrate and back-buttering; we prep accordingly so you don't get lippage.
Yes, we take on tile repair as small projects. Matching grout and finding a tile that matches the original is the hard part — bring us a sample or extra tile if you have any.
